The Arizona Republic has run four articles to date: two overall event stories, one feature on Brandi Lyons and the Trainer’s Challenge and one feature on WD also one of the top 12 things to do this fall.
Arizona Country TV will film Wild West Days in exchange for a wagon and one banner in the arena (the station will make the banners) and will film a promotional segment on November 3 to promo the event in advance.
Sanderson will place several radio and television commercial promoting WWD in advance of the event.
Wild West Days and Gun Down by Sundown will be featured on the Tim & Willy radio program (KMLE) on October 22 (10:30-noon with gunfight at high noon@ Sanderson Ford).
Wild West Days and Gun Down by Sundown will be featured on ABC 15 on October 28 (4-6 PM with gunfight at 5:15 PM) at Sanderson on Bell Road.
Gun Down by Sundown, Six Gun Entertainment and Wild West Days will be featured on FOX 10 news (three segments) in November along with a bathtub race demonstration if the tubs are ready to go.
Fox 10 is schedule to tape a segment on the firefighter’s chili challenge.
KPNX TV (12) is schedule to tape a segment on the firefighter’s chili challenge.
There is ongoing Twitter and Facebook activity, an average of four times per week. More than 12 releases have been sent about the event to date.
